Blackhead Remover before and afters
the science behind the blackheads-remover vacuum
Blackheads Are Oxidised Sebum. The Only Way Out Is Up.
A blackhead — medically termed an open comedone — forms when a hair follicle becomes clogged with a mixture of sebum, dead skin cells, and environmental debris. Unlike whiteheads, which are closed, blackheads have an open surface exposure. When the trapped sebum is exposed to air, it undergoes oxidation — turning the characteristic dark brown or black color. This oxidisation is not dirt, contrary to popular belief. It is a chemical reaction between the sebum and oxygen.
Topical blackhead treatments — strips, masks, and chemical exfoliants — work by softening the material inside the pore. But softening alone is not extraction. The material still needs to be physically removed from the pore. Manual squeezing applies uneven, potentially damaging pressure that can rupture pore walls, push material deeper, and cause scarring. Suction extraction applies controlled, even negative pressure that draws the softened material directly upward through the pore opening — intact, clean, and without trauma to surrounding skin.
The VALYNAZ™ Blackhead Remover Vacuum delivers calibrated suction across multiple intensity levels, allowing you to match the extraction force precisely to the type and location of congestion being treated.
FIVE HEADS. TOTAL PORE CLARITY.
Targeted Extraction for Every Zone, Every Skin Type.
The five interchangeable suction heads of the VALYNAZ™ Blackhead Remover Vacuum are each engineered for a different treatment purpose — ensuring that every area of congestion can be addressed with precisely the right tool and the right suction profile.
The small round head concentrates suction for precise extraction of individual blackheads in the nose, chin, and around the mouth — the most common congestion zones. The large round head provides broader coverage for general cleansing of the cheeks and forehead. The oval head delivers a gentler suction profile for use on sensitive areas. The exfoliation head combines suction with mild physical exfoliation to address surface-level congestion and dull skin simultaneously. The massage head uses suction in a rhythmic pattern to improve circulation and support lymphatic drainage.
Used once or twice weekly following proper skin preparation — thorough cleansing and steaming — the system provides a level of pore extraction that professional facial treatments achieve at $60–$150 per session.
FAQs
How does the blackhead vacuum work?
The device creates a gentle suction force that draws out blackheads, whiteheads, sebum, and dead skin cells from pores. Different suction head attachments allow you to target different areas and concern types.
What suction heads are included and what does each do?
The kit includes multiple attachment heads:
- Small round head: Targeted blackhead extraction on nose and chin
- Large round head: Full cheek and forehead cleansing
- Oval head: Gentle option for sensitive areas
- Exfoliation head: Mild physical exfoliation combined with suction
The key rule of use?
Always keep the device moving. Never hold it still in one place for more than 2–3 seconds.
How often should I use it?
No more than 1–2 times per week. Overuse can enlarge pores and damage the skin barrier.
Should I steam my face before use?
Yes — steaming for 5–10 minutes (or using a warm towel) before your session opens pores and makes extraction significantly more effective.
Will it remove all blackheads in one session?
Stubborn blackheads may require multiple sessions over several weeks. Consistency and proper skin prep (steaming) will produce the best results.
Does it hurt?
When used correctly at the right suction level, it should not be painful. Never use the highest setting immediately or hold it stationary on the same spot — this causes bruising (called petechiae).
Contraindications
Do not use the Blackhead Remover Vacuum if:
- You have dry, thin, or mature skin — suction may cause broken capillaries or bruising more easily
- You have rosacea or visible broken capillaries (spider veins) — suction will worsen these
- You have active acne, open lesions, cold sores, or any infected skin
- You have eczema, psoriasis, or any inflammatory skin condition in the treatment area
- You have sunburned skin — wait until fully healed
- You have recently had facial procedures (peels, laser, microneedling) — wait 4+ weeks
- You are pregnant
- You are under 18 years of age without adult supervision
- You have extremely sensitive skin prone to bruising
IMPORTANT: Never use on highest suction settings on the face. Never hold the device stationary — always keep it moving. Incorrect use can cause bruising, broken capillaries, and temporary skin damage.
Sensitivity Test
The suction test — critical for first-time users:
- Start with the large round head (gentlest)
- Set to the lowest suction level
- Test on your inner forearm — glide for 30 seconds, never stopping in one place
- Observe the forearm for 24 hours
What's normal:
- Mild suction sensation during use
- Very light pinkness immediately after that fades within 10 minutes
Do not proceed to facial use if:
- Any bruising or petechiae (small red dots) appear on the test area
- Skin feels sore, raw, or irritated after testing
Golden rules for face use:
- Always steam first — 5 minutes minimum
- Always keep the device moving — never static
- Start at the lowest setting, even if it feels too gentle
- Use no more than once per week initially
- Follow with a pore-tightening toner and light moisturizer
- Do not pick at anything the vacuum loosens — let it come out naturally
