Cleararmor led therpy mask before and afters
the science behind the cleararmor led mask
Seven Wavelengths. Seven Skin Concerns. One Professional Device.
Different skin concerns exist at different depths and are caused by different biological mechanisms. Acne is caused by bacterial activity near the skin's surface. Wrinkles are caused by collagen breakdown in the dermis. Hyperpigmentation is caused by overactive melanin-producing cells. Inflammation is caused by elevated cytokine levels in the skin tissue.
No single treatment can address all of these at once — which is exactly why the ClearArmor Professional uses 7 distinct LED wavelengths, each calibrated to target a specific mechanism at the precise depth where it occurs.
Blue light at 415nm destroys acne-causing P. acnes bacteria without affecting surrounding skin. Red light at 630nm triggers fibroblast activity to rebuild collagen. Green light at 532nm targets melanocytes to break down excess pigmentation. Yellow light at 590nm reduces redness by calming vascular inflammation. Each wavelength is a precision tool — not a generalised treatment.
the PROFESSIONAL GRADE TECHNOLOGY you need
Clinic-Level Multi-Spectrum Treatment. At Home.
Multi-wavelength LED therapy has been a staple of professional dermatology clinics for over two decades. A single clinical LED session targeting multiple skin concerns can cost $80–$200 and requires repeated clinic visits to maintain results. The ClearArmor Professional brings this same multi-spectrum capability into a single at-home device — eliminating the need for appointments while delivering the same clinical wavelengths proven effective in peer-reviewed research.
The rigid frame design of the ClearArmor ensures consistent distance between the LED panels and skin surface — a critical factor in treatment efficacy. LED therapy effectiveness is directly related to irradiance (energy delivered per unit area), which is optimised when the device maintains a stable, uniform position across the entire face throughout the session.
Whether you're targeting active breakouts with blue light on Monday, stimulating collagen with red light on Wednesday, or brightening pigmentation with green light on Friday — the ClearArmor gives you a full professional treatment protocol in your own bathroom.
FAQs
What are the 7 light colors and what does each one do?
Red (630nm): Stimulates collagen, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, anti-aging
Blue (415nm): Kills acne-causing bacteria, reduces breakouts and pore size
Green: Targets hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone
Yellow: Calms redness and sensitivity, ideal for rosacea-prone skin
Purple: Combines red + blue for acne with anti-aging benefits
Cyan: Soothes and reduces inflammation and skin irritation
White: Boosts overall skin metabolism and cellular regeneration
How is the ClearArmor different from the Elite Silicone Mask?
The ClearArmor features a rigid frame design with 7 individual color modes, making it ideal for targeting specific skin concerns one at a time. The Elite Silicone Mask has a softer, skin-hugging fit. The ClearArmor is excellent for acne-focused routines due to its powerful blue light mode.
How long is each session?
15–20 minutes per session is recommended. The device may have an automatic timer that switches off at the end of your session.
Is it wireless?
Yes — the ClearArmor operates wirelessly via built-in battery, giving you freedom of movement during your session.
How many times per week should I use it?
3–5 times per week for best results. For acne treatment using blue light, daily 15-minute sessions are safe.
Can I combine multiple colors in one session?
We recommend using one color mode per session to target a specific concern. However, purple mode already combines red and blue for a dual-action treatment.
When will I see results?
Acne improvement: 2–4 weeks of consistent use. Anti-aging and brightening results: 6–8 weeks.
How do I clean the mask?
Wipe the inside of the mask with a soft, damp cloth after each use. Do not submerge in water or use harsh chemical cleaners.
Does it hurt?
No. LED therapy is completely painless and non-invasive. You may feel a gentle warmth during the session, which is normal.
Contraindications
Please do not use the ClearArmor LED Mask if any of the following apply:
- You have epilepsy or are prone to photosensitive seizures — the flashing/cycling light modes may be a trigger
- You are taking photosensitizing medications (consult your doctor)
- You have active skin cancer or are undergoing radiation/chemotherapy
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have open wounds, cystic acne lesions, or active infections on the face — wait until healed
- You have implanted electronic devices (pacemaker, cochlear implants)
- You are under 18 years of age
- You have severe rosacea or extremely reactive skin — consult a dermatologist before use
- You have recently had fillers, Botox, or cosmetic facial procedures — wait 2–4 weeks
Always keep eyes closed during use. The device is not intended to treat the eyelid area directly.
Sensitivity Test
Before your first full session:
- Select Yellow light mode — this is the gentlest of the 7 colors
- Apply the mask for 3–5 minutes only
- Observe your skin for 24 hours
What to look for:
- Mild warmth during use = normal ✓
- Slight pinkness immediately after that fades within 30 minutes = normal ✓
- Persistent redness, itching, or swelling = discontinue and consult a dermatologist ✗
For acne-prone skin specifically:
- Do not use blue light on open or infected lesions
- Begin with red or yellow light until active breakouts are calmed
- Introduce blue light gradually — start with 5 minutes and increase
Progressing through the 7 colors:
Introduce one new color mode every 3–4 days so your skin can adjust. This is especially important if you have sensitive or reactive skin.
